Vacation with "disaster" written all over it

This just came in peeps, one of the Cast of Gossipera just sent me this...

Early morning of rainy friday when i had a small conversation w/ one of the finest lead in ops.. We talked about the huddle they did with the higher management of "THE FIRM". This is about our benefits that we must enjoy as a regular employee yet can't make use of it. Higher management decided to allocate 30 VL slots for the month of april, yes, 30 VL ! 15 per cluster. Now whats the ratio? 11 teams per cluster minimum and maximum of 16 per team so what do u think are the chances to plot a VL on the days that we wanted it?? WTF**

As we all know, alloted number of VL's is the result of high absentism rate.. over auxes, understaff time.. Do they even care what's the reason behind why there is a high absentism rate? Why agents love to go on aux or just log out instead of taking calls?

Now here are some of the reasons i think, they should know.

1. Cannot plot VL to the days we wanted it, as a result, agents then will go on Absent or worst, AWOL.
2. HIgh volume of calls yet we're under paid.. how is that??
3. Different Break and Shift Sked..
4. Drastic change of sked..
5. Lack of incentive plan..

  3. I totally agree with what you're saying "the confused" but unless this article has been forwarded to the right person, this will stay an article that is a result of the "The FIRM's" inhuman regulations!!!

  6. Agree! Shouldn't they delve with the reasons for absenteeism? Yeah, given that a fraction of the this absenteeism may be indefensible, how about the otherwise? Part and parcel of the job descriptions of a workforce/command center is to determine the cause of irregularities of attendance. Outspokenly, don't they do anything about it? Would they even care? 'Come on, how would they have time to do so if even the major job that they have,id edem, scheduling, isn't working well with the Reps? Ah, tupsy-turvy of attendance. Hear our voice! Then and there, we might be proud of you
